former 1d blog, now a multi-fandom mess. central focus is doctor who (specifically twelveclara), with some nancy drew and lockwood and co. sorry i am trash
ao3 is not instagram, and it’s not embarrassing to comment on a story that’s old. we understand that you just happened to come across it now; writing is magical in that you often come across the right story at just the time you need to read it.
also, authors will literally cry over their keyboard if you comment on the stuff they write.
TwelveClara is absolutely batshit insane, because it’s all “Clara, I’m not your boyfriend” / “I never thought you were” / “I never said it was your mistake” to “I don’t know [if you’re a good man]” to “When did you start believing in impossible heroes?” / “Don’t you know?” to “Robbing a bank, take that for a date!” to “Do you love him?” / “No. […] Not in that way.” / “What other way is there?”
it’s the feeling of someone being your closest friend and biggest hero, yet also loathing the very ground they walk on, because you realize that your relationship was never built on mutual respect and trust, and you try to claw your way through it, because you’re so selfish, soooo selfish, and you don’t remember yourself without him anymore
it’s the feeling of watching the woman you love look at you like a stranger, of realizing you’ve unmasked yourself and have to deal with the consequences, of her still staying around in spite of it all, so you do the one thing you do best – push her away – and yet she still crawls back, and she wants to make a life with you on her terms not yours, and you’ve grown such a bitter and mean person you are not sure it is possible anymore, but she loves you, oh she loves you, still
it’s psychosexual obsession and duty of care, and a codependency, and I cannot get enough
it’s insane to me that people can’t get past the nuances of rose and mickey’s relationship and how they’re both good people who don’t do right by each other. like this is a show where the main character (allegedly) kills his entire species and you can’t get past why two people who started dating in their teens might fuck each other up a bit
